(MT Newswires) -- Fabrizia Spirits has partnered with Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits to expand its distribution and retail placement at Amazon's (AMZN) Whole Foods Market and other stores.
The Limoncello producer in working with Southern Glazer's, the largest wine and spirits distributor in the US, will extend its footprint in new states including Florida and California, increasing its nationwide distribution to 22 states, it said Wednesday. No financial details were disclosed.
"We have worked with SGWS since 2011 and continued to build our partnership organically since then," Fabrizia Co-Owner and Co-Founder Phil Mastroianni told MT Newswires in an emailed response when asked why Southern Glazer's was chosen for the partnership. "SGWS provides best in class ability to execute distribution of Fabrizia."
Fabrizia Spirits has seen annual compound growth of 21% since 2018, it said in the statement. Mastroianni told MT Newswires that figure was driven by continued growth in the company's namesake brand Fabrizia Limoncello, and the company's expansion into the fast-growing market for ready-to-drink canned spirits and cocktails.
As part of the expanded distribution, New Hampshire-based Fabrizia said its Limoncello lineup of liqueurs was available in more than 60 additional locations in the newly tapped markets through retailer Total Wine & More. Fabrizia's Limoncello has also been placed in all 45 Binny's Beverage Depot locations in Illinois.
Fabrizia's ready-to-drink canned cocktails are also now core placement at around 85 Whole Foods Market locations around the country, including Illinois, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C., the company said.
